Cantaloupe, green blueberries, and honeybees. I love how this photo in my opinion — is “full of life”. Something I have been wanting to incorporate in my stills. This image is inspired by Giovanna Garzoni — one of the few female painters in the Italian Baroque period. Her still-life paintings are teeming with meticulous detail from the natural world. They make me want to leap into orchards in the European countryside, fruit basket in hand. A little honeybee made its way from my patio into my set and it felt just right 🐝✨
