Korean Pear and Butterfles
Korean Pear and Butterfles
Still life of Korean Pear and Butterflies | Chiaroscuro is the Latin term for “light and dark” — an art technique used by many European artists and painters. In this photograph, the light falls on the pear and draws your eye to the lusciousness of the fruit and its details. A twist on applying a European art technique to a subject close to my Asian heritage. Korean pear is grown and picked from my father’s fruit garden.
