Autumn Squash
Autumn Squash
Still life of autumn squash —acorn, kabocha, and persimmon. Chiaroscuro is the Latin term for “light and dark” — an art technique used by many European artists and painters. I love this image that is “full of life” with bees and butterflies holding onto the last bounty of the year. There is something seasonal and special about working with this autumn palatte. Ginko and rose branches were gifted from my gardener neighbors.
